The relationship of Mary-Kate Olsen and Pierre Olivier Sarkozy is officially over, and it seems to have deteriorated considerably. The New York Post’s Page Six has taken up court documents alleging that Mary-Kate was evicted from her New York apartment in the middle of a pandemic.
Court documents say Mary-Kate is unhappy with the way she was treated during the coronavirus pandemic, which caused the biggest economic downturn since the Great Depression. Mary-Kate Olsen signed a divorce notice and notice of complaint on April 17 and said it was “clear” that their marriage was over. She claimed that their relationship was irreparable, however, at the time, the New York Supreme Court did not accept requests for separation.
Mary-Kate, who married Sarkozy, 50, in 2015, asked the court to allow her to file an emergency divorce petition, saying that her husband had terminated the lease on their Big Apple apartment without his permission.
Mary-Kate added in court documents that her husband expects her to move on May 18, 2020, at a time when the city is closed due to COVID-19. In addition, Mary-Kate says that she contacted her husband’s lawyer and asked to stay after May 30.
